Dr. J. A. Herring, 62, died Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at a local sanitarium. He is survived by his widow, one daughter and three sons. Funeral services were held at the residence, 215 North Royal avenue Sunday at 5 p.m. under the auspices of the I.O.O.F. Burial was at Greenwood.
