aka Alexander Sunrock, Alexander Salisbury

Born Elic Sohlberg, according to Edmund's death certificate. His immigration record is Alexander Sohlberg.

Son of Augustus ALEXANDER & Catherine/Catharina (Mattson/probably Mattsdotter) Sohlberg/Sunrock of Utica, Crawford, Wisconsin. They were from Sweden, and immigrated to NY in 1850. Their surname started as Sohlberg, and became Sunrock when they immigrated. Alexander Sr. probably died in Utica between 1860-1870.

Alexander N Sunrock married Julia A Bailey in Seneca, Crawford, WI on September 19, 1870.

Alexander eventually evolved the name to Salisbury by 1882, when they moved to Kansas City. But, it appears when he and Julia split, he returned to the legal Sohlberg surname. See attached article, AND, I just found him with his remarried/widowed mother, Catherine Grossman, in Grundy County, TN in 1900. He did report to be married, and for 30 years.

He married a widowed Margaret E (Crabtree) Bouldin in Grundy, TN on December 7, 1902. They split/divorced by 1910.

His will was processed in Grundy, TN in 1916.

Only his daughter Martha is still MIA. I haven't found his mother after 1900, nor who Grossman she married, when and where. She probably passed in Grundy before 1908.
