Bernice Hall Carroll, 82, resident of 401 Maple St. widow of Edward Franklin Carroll passed away peacefully Friday July 16, 2010 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC with her loving family by her side.

Born in Elbert Co., Georgia she was a daughter of the late Samuel Lee Hall and Ruby Eliza Rousey Hall.

She was a retired employee of Kemet Electronics in Greenwood, SC. She was also a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and sister who will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.


Survivors include 2 daughters Pam Wilson and her fiancé Jim Dickson of Abbeville, SC and Sandra Carroll of the home; 2 brothers Speed Hall and his wife Judy of Ninety Six, SC and Bailey Hall of Abbeville, SC; 1 sister Erma Lee Steele of West Columbia, SC; 1 grandson Eric Wilson and 2 great grandchildren Bentley Wilson and Skyler Wilson.

She was preceded in death by four brothers Talmadge, Leon, Tate Lee and Grover Dudley Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 18, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Lebanon Presbyterian Church. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
