Siblings:
Benjamin F. Todd 1854-1932
Hugh James Todd 1859
McDonald Todd 1861
Dennis Todd 1866
Melvenia was handicapped as she could not walk as a result of a childhood illness. She rolled around in a straight chair with casters on the bottom of each leg. She used 2 long sticks to maneuver herself. She was extremely smart & did not let her handicap stop her from doing the things most people in her condition wouldn't have done. She would crawl around & pull weeds & tend flower beds or whatever needed to be done & loved to do crafts & sewing. (This info was orally given by her nieces, Frosty, Bessie, Roxie & Ruby Jordan, daughters of James T. Jordan & Martha (Mattie) Jane Todd Jordan & grandaughters of Benjamin F. Todd (brother of Melvenia).
