Frederick Dalton Daily was the firstborn son of William Frederick and Mary Haywood Dalton Daily. His siblings were: William Charles, James Burkley, Doris Mae, Pauline Gail, Genevieve D., Irene, Inez, Jack Parke, and Bobby Joe.

He married Myrtle Agnes McPearson. They had no children.

He graduated from Dover High School in 1931 in Dover, AR.

Dalton served in the military from 1942-1946 He fought in WWII in the U.S. Army, Tech 4, stationed in the South Pacific Theater.

After obtaining a Bachelors degree in Business, and almost completing his Masters degree in Business, he became a certified public accountant for Gulf Oil in Texas. He lived in Texas most of his adult life in Crosby, TX. However, he retired to Springfiled, Greene County, MO. He died at his home in Springfield, MO.

Dalton suffered several medical problems late in his life that contributed to his death: open-heart sugery, radiation treatments for a malignant tumor on the brain, then stroke and malignant lung tumor.

He was 84 years of age.

His will was filed in Probate court in Springfield, MO on October 18, 1995.
