Son of Henry Barney and Marcy Jane Lucas. The Utah Burials Database shows that he is buried in Provo Cemetery (no dates or grave location listed). Since the Provo Cemetery wasn't started until 1853, Jacob was one of those whose remains were moved to the Provo Cemetery from the earlier Temple Hill Cemetery on today's BYU campus. His name is on the Pioneer Memorial near the drinking fountain.
