Edward "Bud" Nelson, 69, of 1427 10th St., Moline, died Saturday at United Medical Center, Moline.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Heart Fund or the Diabetes Association.
Mr. Nelson was born Oct 23, 1920, in Moline.
He was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 246, Moline.
Survivors include a sister, Elle Orlich, East Moline; a brother, Raymond E. Nelson, Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.
