The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, with Dr. W James Rivers officiating.
Burial will be in Aiken Memorial Park.
Mr. Allen, a native of Postell, N.C., was employed by U.S. Steel, Donora, Pa., for 21 years. He moved to Asheville, N.C., in 1958 and was a barber at the City Barber Shop, Asheville, until 1984. He moved to Aiken in 1986 and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth C. Allen; a daughter, Ramona Womack, Aiken; a sister, Lexie Wood, Ooltewah, Tenn; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
