FULTON : Maulsie Guntharp, 93, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Courtyards Nursing Home in Fulton. She was born March 03, 1906, to Trannie and Narocia Stone Bowen. She was a lifelong resident of Itawamba County. She was a retired homemaker and a member of East Fulton Baptist Church since 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey J. Guntharp; two sons, Cecil Cortez and W. M. Guntharp; one daughter, Dorothy Guntharp; and one infant great-granddaughter, Jessica Buse; eight sisters and one brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewitt Bain, Bro. Grover Laird, Bro. Eugene Digby and Bro. Caster Buse officiating. Burial will be in Harden Chapel Cem..

Survivors include three daughters, Iva Lee Buse and her husband, Bro Caster Buse, of Mantachie, Mary Burks and her husband, Joe, of Olive Branch, Corinne Bairfield and her husband, Dempsey, of Pearl; two sons, Victor Guntharp and his wife, Jane, of Fulton and Jerry Guntharp and his wife, Linda, of Mantachie; one daughter-in-law, Betty Guntharp of Waterford, Wisc.; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
