In Memory of C. S. Lee

The death angel passed over the home of brother Lee and took him away leaving a wife and eleven children and a great many friends to mourn the loss, while we believe he has a better place than a world of sorrow. He joined the Baptist Church a good many years ago and lived a faithful christian member at Good Hope Church. The church will greatly miss his presence. He seemed to be concious of the fact that his departure was at hand by saying he had nothing to fear onlu leaving his family.

His funeral was preached by Rev. J. W. Todd at Good Hope Cemetery attended by a large congregation. His remains were laid to rest to await the great resurrection when the grave shall give up its dead. The dead in Christ shall rise victorious over all and the last enemy to gather into the Realms of Endless of Joy. May the friends and family of brother Lee consider that it is better to live with Christ than in a world of sorrow.

Brother of : William Franklin Lee.
