Alfred Joe Byrge, 55, of Caryville, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Oneida, Monday evening, March 9, 2009. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Mr. Byrge is survived by his mother, Margarett P. Byrge of Helenwood; brother, Joby Byrge of Helenwood; sister, Dorothy Snyder; brother-in-law, Kenny Snyder of Caryville; nephews, Christopher Snyder, Joby Ray Byrge, Johnathan Byrge and Ronnie Poe all of Campbell Co.; niece, Tonya Poe of Campbell Co.

The family received friends Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service followed at 8 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Carroll officiating.
