The many friends of William Wolf Nottingham were shocked to hear of his death which resulted from an automobile accident last Sunday, Nov. 15 in Detroit Michigan. He lived three hours after the accident. His remains were brought back to his old home for burial.

Funeral services were conducted at Webers Chapel Wednesday by Rev. J. W. Stewart in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. He was laid to rest in the Nottingham cemetery.

Wolf was 28 years, one month and a few days old. He spent the most of his life in this community. The past seven years Knoxville, 2 years California and Detroit Mich., Richmond Indiana. He was the first of a family of twelve children to go. He leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Nottingham, eight sisters and three brothers. Tyler, Charlie and J. B. Jr. Sisters; Carrie, Kate, Blanche, Ruby, Jannie, Lucille, Ruth and Martha. The Family has the sympathy of the entire community in this sad hour.

Woodman Will Unveil Nottingham Monument

Hiltons, Va., Sept. 10 — The unveiling by the Woodmen of the World of the William W. Nottingham monument will take place Sunday afternoon, September 12, at 2 o'clock at the Nottingham cemetery near Nottingham Station. The public is cordially invited to attend the unveiling services.
