Mr. Heinrich Hellbusch, an old resident of the New Bremen area, died on Thursday, March 8, from respiratory problems and old age at 79 years and 5 months. The deceased was born in Grossenkneten, Oldenburg and immigrated here on May 10,1835. He was one of the first settlers. He married Marg. Elisabetha Dammeyer, born Meyer on April 24, 1851. The marriage was childless. For many years he suffered with respiratory difficulties which later resulted in a bad cough. The burial took place on Saturday afternoon at the Lock 2 Cemetery. Pastor Buerkle led the funeral service.
