Walter came to the United States in the early 1900's, landing at Ellis Island. He eventually settled in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He married Victoria Pisz, also from Poland (Austrian Empire). They had three children: Mary, Joseph and Stanley. Stanley died at age 20 (1-07-1930) and is also buried at this site, along with Victoria, who died in 1965 at age 80 (08-20-1965). Ludwika Grasela, sister of Walter, is also buried here.
