Reta graduated from High School at Ashland, Kan., in May of 1957. She then attended and completed one year of business school at Wichita, Kan.
She was married to Corky Moyle of Fairmont on June 28, 1961, and to them three children were born. She was employed at Sunset Home from 1978 until their closing and then went to work at Heritage in Geneva until 1997. She later worked at Fairview Manor in Fairmont.
Reta enjoyed crafts, loved her grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for grand-dogs. She also liked to give the slot machine a pull and shopping at Sam's was always a treat. Reta was an excellent cook and always was looking for new dishes to prepare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Harry Ranagargar; sister, Helen Wiekel and her aunt, Cloe Stranghorner, all of Ashland, Kan.
Surviving are her husband, Corky Moyle of Geneva; son, Jeff and his wife Cindy Moyle of Fairmont; daughter, Teresa Schwartz and husband, Brian of Grand Island; daughter, Betty Moyle of Grand Island; grandchildren Andy and Audrey Moyle and Dawn, Sean and Samuel Schwartz.
Memorial services were held on Friday, August 4, 2000, from the Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva with Pastor Mike Osberg officiating.
Musical selections were "God Be With You" and "How Great Thou Art."
Private committal of the ashes was held at the Fairmont Public Cemetery.
