Mr. and Mrs. August Carl Lundin observed their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday at the home of Mrs. Lundin’s brother, Mrs. Sven Ahlord, which was also Mr. Ahlord’s birthday.

Mrs. Lundin, Pioneer Of Norway, Dies
Mrs. Teckla Lundin, 80, pioneer resident of Norway, died this morning at the Anderson Memorial hospital following a long illness.
She was born March 24, 1881 in Doo Orebro, Sweden and came to Norway 63 years ago.
She was married in 1900 to August Lundin, who died in 1948. She was a Gold Star Mother and a member of the Grace Methodist church of Norway.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Robert Barbaras of Liegonier, Pa., and Mrs. Edward Dolan, of Norway; a son, Herbert, of Niagara, eleven grandchildren. Two brothers in Sweden also survive. A son, Kenneth, was killed in World War II and another son, Arthur, died three years ago.
Friends may call at the Asp Memorial Funeral home after 2 tomorrow afternoon.
Services will be held at 2 Friday afternoon at the funeral home. The Rev. Merton Seymour, of the Grace Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Norway Township Cemetery.

August and Tekla were married August 18, 1900 in Norway, Dickinson, Michigan.
August, 24, was an iron ore miner and the son of Per and Cathrina (Persdotr-Persdotter) Erson. Tekla, was 19 and the daughter of Theodore and Mathilda Carlson. Brent Howe officiated the wedding. Attendants were Victor Bergwall and Susie Johnson of Norway, Michigan.
