Mrs. Mary Brasher, 99, Shelby native
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brasher, 99, died Friday night at her home in Vandiver Rt. 1, in Shelby County.
Mrs. Brasher, a native of Shelby County, is survived by six sons, T.F. Brasher, C.M. Brasher, J.W. Brasher and R.R. Brasher of Birmingham, John L. Brasher of Lucedale, Miss., and I.R. Brasher of Sylacauga; three daughters, Mrs. William Isabell and Mrs. Roy Andrews of Sylacauga and Mrs. Ada Stokes of Vandiver.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Vandiver Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, with Ridout's Valley Chapel directing.
Mary was the daughter of Isaac Long Brasher and Margaret Stokes.
