Miss Edyth Baudendistel, 59, died suddenly on January 12 1961 in Johnson City, where she has lived for the past 42 years. She was born in Hankins on February 28 1901, the daughter of Frederick and Catherine (Frey) Baudendistel.
She is survived by two sisters - Mrs josiah (Marion) Gardner of Monticello, Mrs Zenus (Alice) Barnum of Mechanicsburg, Pa; a brother, Floyd Baudendistel, of Johnson City, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the first Baptist Church of Binghamton and she was in charge of various missionary projects of the church, a member of the Board of Directors of the Broome and Tioga Baptist Association and an Endicott Johnson employee for 40 years.
Funeral services were held at the Rice Funeral Home in Johnson City. Burial will be made in hortonville at a later date.
