CORP. HARRY L. PATTY
Funeral services for Corp. Harry Lloyd Patty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Patty of Murrysville, Pa., will be held in the Murrysville Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Friday.

Corp. Patty entered the service March 26, 1942. He and the entire crew of the B-24 Bomber of which he was tail gunner were killed Nov. 17, 1942, when the plane crashed on the take-off for their first bombing mission. The accident occurred at an airfield in Australia.

He was born Feb. 22, 1919.

A graduate of Franklin Township High School, Corp. Patty was active in baseball, football and wrestling, and before entering the service he worked for the Westinghouse Airbrake Co.

He was a member of the Murrysville Presbyterian Church, the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Co. and the Westmoreland County Firemen's Assn.

Besides his parents, Corp. Patty is survived by two brothers, Ralph Carl Patty of Murrysville, and Earl Glenn Patty of Export, Pa.

Friends are being received in his late home.

Burial will be in Murrysville Cemetery.
