Mrs. Helen A. Inge, 84, of Chase City, passed away May 11, 2010 at Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Milton Inge and is survived by her daughter, Sylvia I. Coleman and her husband, Gene of Boydton, a son, Lynwood D. Inge of Clarksville, four grandchildren, Joelle Inge Messerschmidt and husband, Lars of Mechanicsville, Jennifer Coleman Willis and husband, Tyler of Roanoke, Edward E. Coleman III of Clarksville, and William Joseph Coleman of Richmond.

She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Caroline Meadow Messerschmidt, Mary Virginia Willis and Elizabeth Jane Monroe Willis, two sisters, Margaret A. Smith and Eleanor A. Jordan.

Her remains rest at Wood Funeral Service, however, the family will receive friends at the home of Sylvia and Gene Coleman, 679 Jefferson Street, Boydton.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Woodland Cemetery, Chase City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
