Frank L Athon, 85, Quenemo, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr Athon was a farmer and a stockman.
He was born Oct 26, 1915, on a farm west of Quenemo, the son of Nathaniel Dean and Hallie Lanning Athon. He graduated from Lyndon High School in 1933 and lived his entire life on the farm where he was born.
Ha married Mabel Brecheisen on Feb 14, 1942, in Lyndon. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, James D Athon, Topeka; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were April 30 at Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. Burial was in Vassar Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
