Carmichael, Evalee Hodge - age 89, of Kodak, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2000. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a longtime member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church. She attended French Broad Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pryor "Hog" Carmichael; son, Bill Carmichael; great granddaughter, Stephanie Carmichael; brothers, Ode, Jack and John Hodge.
Survivors: grandson and wife, Steve and Donna Carmichael; granddaughter and husband Jackie Lynn and W.M. Marsh; great-grandchildren; special niece, Gail Bolinger.
Funeral service 3 p.m. Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Underwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
