Ellen Sue Belford, age 66, of Plunkettville, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010.
She was born March 3, 1943 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Earl Belford and the late Phyllis McFarland Reese. She was united in marriage to the late Bill Schmidt. She worked for Douglas Aircraft in the electronics division and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Nicole Nichols of Smithville, Oklahoma

Father: Earl Belford of Lake Kiowa, Texas

Sisters: Kay Boylan of Riverside, California Georgia Goad of Carlsbad, New Mexico

Grandchild: Ryder Nichols of Smithville, Oklahoma

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis McFarland Reese and her husband, Bill Schmidt.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Watson Cemetery with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating. Arrangements will be under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
