Grace Ellen Ansley, the daughter of Cyrus and Sarah Richards Huxford, was born June 12, 1899 in Bussey, and entered her eternal rest on November 3, 1975 at the Mercy Center in Aurora, Ill., having reached the age of 76 years.
She received her education in Albia and in January of 1917 was united in marriage to George Ansley. To this union eight children were born. Grace was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chariton where she was active until her move to Aurora, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, George; and two children, Margie and Blodweil. Survivors include her six children, Juanita, Roland, George, David, Lillian and Adriena; two sisters, Marqurite Scott and Elsie Sanders; one brother, Jack Huxford and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Edward Quick, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
