On Sunday morning, the 7th inst., Geo. Bradley, son of Tyranus Bradley, was drowned at Shanklin's Ferry, on New river. He with others went in bathing when he got beyond his depths, and not being able to swim, sank before help could reach him. His lifeless body was not found for near an hour. He was an estimable young man, and leaves behind him a host of friends and relatives to mourn his sad and sudden fate.
