D. A. Ayers
Villa Rica, Ga., Jan. 3- D. A. (Bud) Ayers, 78, retired farmer, died at his home here Thursday morning after a long illness. Mr. Ayers had been in failing health for several years.
Surviving are two brothers, Alonzo Ayers, Villa Rica; Jabe Ayers, Hewlett; three sisters, Mrs. Tom Stovall, Mrs. W. K. Barton, Hewlett, and Mrs. Reese Neal, of Sidney; Texas; six sons, Lucius Ayers, Villa Rica; John Allen Ayers, Carrollton; Kirkland Ayers and Cordelle Ayers, Villa Rica; Rev. W. L. Ayers and Tasco Ayers, Atlanta; five daughters, Mrs. W. L. Tyson, Atlanta; Mrs. Claude Gilland, Douglasville; Mrs. Owen Fountain, Villa Rica; Mrs. Carl Taylor, Temple, and Miss Jurie Ayers, Villa Rica.
Mr. Ayers was a brother to the late Rev. Willie Ayers of Aberline, Texas, noted Baptist minister.
