ABSECON, N.J. — Joseph Colarusso passed away at his home in Absecon, N.J., on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
Mr. Colarusso was born in Worcester on May 23, 1924, and his family moved to Lawrence a few years later.
He attended the Lawrence school system, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. [Enlisted on 7 Apr 1943 in Boston, MA]
Joe was employed by the Andrew Wilson Sheet Metal Company in Lawrence before moving down to New Jersey in the 1980s.
Mr. Colarusso leaves behind his wife, Barbara (Spellman), originally from Nashua, N.H.; sister, Marie Vallario of Methuen, wife of the late Albert Vallario; nephew, Andrew Vallario of Methuen; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in New Jersey, and burial took place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Hudson, N.H.
