KELLEY Lester Eugene Kelley- an 81 year-old native of Jersey, AR and resident of Mobile passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010. He retired from the civil service at Keesler Air Force Base after many years of service. Mr. Kelley was a veteran of the Air Force, a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Portier Council Number 3565 and a local Mystic Society. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary Lucille Ladnier Kelley. Survivors include his children, William E. Kelley, Karen Kelley Willemsen (Tom), and Bobby K. Kelley (Kelly); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Monsignor James S. Kee, J.V. serving as celebrant. Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Rhein Farnell, Sr., Tommy Thompson Farnell, Greg Gerald Maples, Justin Norwood Thomspon, and Rodrick David Bumpers. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of the South, 1 Medical Park Dr. Suite 101, Mobile, AL 36693.
