The son of David and Mary(Rooney)Lee, he was born July 18, 1902, at Urbana, Ill. He had been a resident of Shelbyville since 1919 and was an employee of several local furniture factories.
He was married to Nannie Frankin of Campbellsville, Ky., on Dec. 24, 1928, who survives with four children, Mrs. Dorothy Mason of this city, Mary and Rosann at home and Charles who is serving with the U.S. Army and two grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Everett, of this city.
Mr. Lee was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Murphy Mortuary.
Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
