Funeral services for Marcus Anderson (Mark) Feild, 80, of Lake Victor were conducted Friday afternoon in the Edgar Funeral Home Chapel in Burnet with the Rev. George Brown officiating. Graveside rites followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Feild died Wednesday morning.
A native of Burnet County, Mr. Feild was a retired rancher. He was the son of the late A. V. Feild and Maud Oakley Feild. Mr. Feild was past Master of the Lake Victor Lodge #1011, past Patron O.E.S. Chapter #425, past High Priest Chapter #453 R.A.M., past T.I.M. Council #368, Scottish Rite of Austin, Llano Commandry #54.
Survivors include his daughter, Lynda Matush of Temple; two sons, Buddy Feild and Andy Feild, both of Burnet; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne; a son, Stan Feild; a sister, Lorena Pierpont; and a brother, Vernor Feild.
Pallbeareres were Ricky Field, Dirk Field, Waite Hoyt Adams, Larry Hodge, LeRoy Schooley, Lawson Gibbs and August Hahn. Honorary pallbearers included Brownlee Feild, Jack Feild, Fred Marshall, Delbert Yazell, Tom Moore, Paul Brown, Miles Shelby, J.L. Edwards and W.C. O'Neal. Arrangements were by Edgar Funeral Home of Burnet.
