Joe Isbell, Sr., 77, of Coolidge, died Sunday in Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. in Blair-Stubbs Chapel.
Minister Willis Jernigan of Ross Avenue Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in Mexia City Cemetery.
Mr. Isbell, a retired farmer, was born on Oct. 25, 1895, and lived most of his life in Limestone County. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Joe Isbell, Jr., of Tehaucana, Daniel Isbell of Reedley, Calif., and Earl N. Isbell of Rosenberg; a daughter, Mrs. John Murphy of Forest Glade; two brothers, Morris Isbell of California and Robert Isbell of Colorado City; a sister, Mrs. Nora Hogan of Houston; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
