Old Resident Of City Dies Sunday
Miss. Julia Greely, 80 years old a resident of Ottumwa for the past 74 years, died at her home 520 W. Mechanic St. at 10 PM Sunday, she was born in New York. Mrs. Greely had lived at her residence on Mechanic Street for the past 60 years. She was one of the oldest members of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ottumwa. She was the sister of Sister Mary Boniface of the Visitation at Rock Island, who died in March 1927. Surviving are her brother, M. H. Greeley of Ottumwa; four nieces that live in Omaha and three in Highland, Illinois as well as two nephews also living in Highland. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending word from relatives living at a distance. The body was removed to the Moroney funeral home where it will remain until the hour of services.
