David Mehlhorn, 58
METHUEN — David R. Mehlhorn, 58, of Methuen, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
He was born in Lawrence, and is the son of Claire (Kelleher) Mehlhorn and the late David A. Mehlhorn. David was educated in the Lawrence Public School system.
He worked for Borden Chemical in North Andover as a machine operator. He also worked as a security guard for MV Guard Service.
David was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed camping, bowling, and cookouts. He was a true gentleman and family man. He loved to be teased.
Besides his dad David was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Mehlhorn; three nieces, Lisa and Stephaine Mehlhorn and Nicole Michaud. Besides his mom, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beverly (Sarcione) Mehlhorn of Methuen; daughter, Melissa Mehlhorn of Methuen; sisters, Sheryl Gleason of Andover, Patricia Michaud of Hudson, N.H.; David also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
