Sophia Bouska
Sophia Ella Bouska, daughter of Joseph and Anna Saip Bouska was born October 14, 1893 at Narka, Kans., and died May 12, 1979 in the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, Kan., at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 28 days.
She lived her entire life in and near Narka where she was a member of the United Presbyterian church. She attended the Island school.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Anna Bouska and Mrs. Mary Paulicheck; five brothers, Joe, Charles, George, Toney and Luther.
Survivors are: three sisters-in-law, Elsie Bouska, Mrs. Doris Sanborn and Ella Bouska. Among the nieces and nephews are Mrs. Charles Brokesh and Mrs. Bohman Mach.
Funeral services were held in the Narka Presbyterian church the Rev. Tom Ballard, officiating. Interment was at Maple Grove cemetery.
