Felix Paul Book, 88, of San Angelo died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in a local hospital.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Cathedral Church of the Sacred Heart. Burial will follow in
Calvary Cemetery.

Felix was born May 16, 1911, in Runnels County to John and Helen Book. In 1936 he married Ruby Willberg and moved to San Angelo in 1941. Ruby preceded him in death in 1944. In 1946 he married Anita Hoelscher.
Felix was a lifelong stock farmer. He was a longtime member of the Cathedral Church of the Sacred Heart, the Knights of Columbus and the Red Creek Gun Club. He enjoyed making German sausage for the Sacred
Heart fall festival, hunting, a good game of dominoes and tending his pecan orchard in his retirement years. A devoted father and grandfather, his final hour was eased by the presence of all his children.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Book; his parents, John and Helen Book; two sons, Paul and Alexander; brothers, Frank Book, Ben Book, Edwin Book, Herbert Book and Alphonse Book; a sister, Amelia Schniers; grandsons, Garrett and Gunnar Book; and son-in-law, John Sferes.
Survivors include his children, John Book and wife, Nancy, of Miles, Don Book and wife, Diane, of Plainview, Michael Book and wife, Tina, of San Angelo, Patricia Zeitler and husband, Irvin, of San Angelo,
Paula Sferes of Lubbock, Fred Book and wife, Vivian, of Miles, Betty Jo Wilde and husband, John, of Wall, Marian Seidenberger and husband, James, of Stamford, Cecil Book and wife, Stella, of Miles and Roy Book and wife, Chris, of Miles.
Survivors also include grandchildren, Gretchen Massingill, Regan Book, Rebecca Warnick, Tara Rainey, Laura Garlock, Eric Zeitler, Nicole Williams, Sara Zeitler, Kendra Book, Anita Book, Neal Book, Douglas
Wilde, Matthew Wilde, Julie Wilde, Joanna Wilde, Sally Seidenberger, Ginger Seidenberger, Grant Seidenberger, Justin Book, Kyle Book, Kayla Book, PAUL BOOK and Lauren Book; great-grandchildren, Caelan Zeitler, Liam Zeitler and Kiersten Zeitler; and a brother, Richard Book of Miles.
The family extends a special thanks to Jesse Workman, caregiver and friend.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
