WILLIAMSBURG - Louis L. Ashlock, 49, retired from the Philadelphia Art Museum, died Tuesday, Oct. 12.
Mr. Ashlock was a native of Williamsburg and lived most of his life in Philadelphia.
Survived by five sisters, Irene Jamerson, Thelmond Long and Evelyn Thomas of Williamsburg, Shirley Bridges of Miami and Dorothy Bartlett of South Philadelphia, Pa.; and seven brothers, Saxton Ashlock and Houston Ashlock of Williamsburg, Clinton Ashlock of Newport News, Clade Ashlock of Rochester, N.Y., John Ashlock Jr. and Bernard Ashlock of Philadelphia and Alvester Ashlock of Miami.
Viewing from 5 to 7 tonight at Whiting's Funeral Home. Funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home by Dr. Solomon M. Wesley. Assemble by 1 p.m. at 1426 Government Road. Burial in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery.
