ALTIC, Frances Jean age 81 of West Milton, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Covington Care Center. She was born on June 7, 1929 in Franklin, Ohio to Harold and Lula Kellis. She was preceded in death by her parents and son William Coatney. She is survived by her husband, Donald Gene Altic; son Richard Coatney-West Milton; daughter, Nancy Rampenthal-Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, W.M. Kellis-Alabama. Frances quietly volunteered for many years at many local organizations. She was a member of the Hoffman United Methodist Church, Sunshine Gals, The Entertainers, F.I.S.H., Card Club, American Legion Auxiliary and a charter member of the Grandmothers Club. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 12 at Hoffman United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., West Milton. Pastor Kevin White will officiate with burial to follow at Old Ludlow Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St., West Milton. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to F.I.S.H. Union Township.
