Note: Unable to find a Death Certificate on him and therefore do not have a complete death date. There is a James Robert Stokes (b July 23, 1908 in Alabama; died April 3, 1958 in Maricopa Co., AZ) who is the son of Robert C. Stokes. Also, he is not listed in the Social Security Administration index.
