Services for L.H. "Watt" Alberts were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church officiated by Rev. Kimbrow, circuit Methodist pastor, and Rev. J.D. Thorn, the pastor of First Baptist Church.

Watt Alberts never married. He was believed to have drowned at Norris Lake, three miles north of Graham when he went out to catch some fish. He was missed when the camp engine he was operated at the dam for Bennett Petroleum Company ran out of fuel and stopped.

Survived by his parents who live six miles northeast of Graham; four brothers - Lawrence Alberts, Steve Alberts, Gene Alberts and Fay Alberts; three sisters - Mrs. Horace Goldston, Mrs. Frank Cox, and Mrs. S.R. Walters.
