Doris Hendricks, 87, of Henning, Mn. died on Monday July 5, 2010 at the Henning Golden Living Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 10, 2010 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Henning, Fr. Leroy Schik is the celebrant. Music is provided by Paul Malecha. Casket bearers are Calvin Price, Seth Price, Bradley Swanberg, Blake Swanberg, Wesley Hendricks, Shawn Hendricks, Kick Cochran, Jacob Hendricks. Interment is in Inman Cemetery, rural Henning. Visitation is from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday July 9, 2010 at the church. Arrangements are with the Belmont Funeral Home in Henning.
Doris May Iverson was born on April 3, 1923 in Litchfield, Mn. the daughter of Herb and Lillian (Hatch) Iverson. She graduated from Henning High School in 1941. Doris worked at the theater in Henning, Mn., the Bertha Hospital in Bertha, Mn. the US Post Office in Port Orchard, Wa. and the Bremerton Ship Yards in Bremerton, Wa. She was married to Melvin Hendricks on March 30, 1946 in Bremerton. The lived in Folden Township, Mn, until 1956 when they moved to Coeur D'Alene Valley, Id. Doris later returned to the Henning area where she live until her death.
Doris is survived by her 9 children; Michael(Mardell) Hendricks, Bemidji, Mn., Thomas Hendricks, Ottertail, Mn., Stephen Hendricks,Henning, Mn.,Timothy (Wanda) Hendricks, St. Maries, Id., Rebecca (Billy) Cochran, Granger, Wa., Barbara (Spencer) Price, Felton, Mn., Joel (Sharon) Hendricks, Hitterdal, Mn., Beverly (Ricky) Swanberg, Ottertail,Mn., and Daniel Hendricks, Henning; 29 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, brothers, Duane Iverson, Elk River,Mn., and Raymond(Pat) Iverson, Spring Lake Park, Mn., and a sister-in-law; Edith Iverson, Henning.
