Maxine Taylor, 82, of Clinton died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 20, 2001) at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home, Decatur. Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, the Rev. Billy P. Bell officiating. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. . Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born Feb. 22, 1918, at Warrensburg, the daughter of Noah and Leona Buckley. She married Charles Taylor on April 29, 1938, at Rickville, Ind. He died Oct. 3, 1997. Survivors include one son, David L. (Peggy) Taylor, Mason, Ohio; and one sister, Edith Bloom, Decatur. Also surviving is a grandson, David L. Taylor Jr., Mason, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
