She married David (Thomas) Crawford Terry in 1868. They were the parents of Judy Terry born 1869; John Washington Terry 1872 - 1952; Sarah Ann Terry Chandler Kane born about 1873; Rebecca Ellen Terry Triplett 1874 - 1911; Lucy Jane Terry Pulliam 1877 - 1947; Joseph Antoine Terry 1879 - 1958; James David Terry 1882 - 1961; Clara Terry born 1888; and Leonard Earnest Terry 1892 - 1921.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband David Crawford Terry; daughters Judy Terry and Rebecca Ellen Terry Triplett as well as son Leonard Earnest Terry.
She was survived by sons John Washington Terry; James David Terry; and Joseph Antoine Terry as well as daughters Sarah Ann Terry Chandler Kane and Lucy Jane Terry Pulliam.
Her obituary states that she died at the home of her son John Washington Terry in the Plunk area of Ripley, Missouri and that she was originally buried January 18, 1941 at Amity Cemetery with Elder A. A. Taylor officiating. However, later records suggest that her remains were moved to another location also at Amity Cemetery in 1975.
