From the Flag of the Union newspaper of 13 July 1842:

Departed this life on Friday morning the 25th of June at the house of her son, near the line of Mississippi, Mrs. Jane Binion, aged and amiable relict of the late William Binion, Esq. of Tuscaloosa Co. She survived her husband one month and was under much indisposition at the time of her husband's death. After his death, she retired with her sons to spend the remainder of her days with them and their families. . . . She was born in 1764 or 1765 of respectable parentage and brought up in Caswell Co., NC She received more than an ordinary education for the custom of that time. She married in the year 1784 and not long after removed with her husband to Georgia and settled in Columbia Co. She professed religion in May, 1803. . . . Was interred with her husband and some of her children[34].

Gravesite Details

There are no burials with marked headstones prior to 1900 found. There are several blank stones throughout the cemetary.
