RITES SATURDAY FOR CHARLES McGINNIS

A lifelong resident of Mexico, Charles Ray McGinnis, 59, of 1115 Harwood, died at 3:45 a. m. Thursday at the Audrain medical Center, where he had been a patient since Nov. 6.

He had worked for Wonneman's Greenhouse for a number of years before declining health forced him to retire.

Services have been set for 1:30 p. m. Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home. The Rev. Marvin Jones will officiate and burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation at the funeral home will be today from 6:30 to 8:00 p. m.

Mr. McGinnis was born in Audrain County on Jan. 24, 1929, a son of Joseph R. and Fannie Tawney McGinnis. He was married at Paris on July 1, 1960, to Sara Schneider, who survives at the home. Also surviving are his mother Fannie McGinnis of Mexico, two sons, Chuck McGinnis of Vallejo, Calif., and Jim McGinnis of Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. George (Lila) Edmonds of Fulton and Mrs. Elmer (Bettie Jo) Calhoon of Mexico; and three grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death.

Mr. McGinnis was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
