Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, in Santo North Cemetery in Palo Pinto County.
Mrs. Ward was born June 9, 1939 in Palo Pinto County, the daughter of George and Mozelle Hamby Richardson. She married Giles Ward, July 31, 1959, in Odessa. She had lived in Erath County since 1989.
Survivors: Husband, Giles Ward; sons, William Ward, Donnie Ward, Merritt Ward; daughter, Lynn Glover; mother, Mozelle Richardson; sisters, Joanne Swinney and Bertha Tucker; brothers, Andy Richardson, Charles Richardson, and Billy Richardson; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
