Lee Amerson, 67, of Muleshoe, who lived here in the 1920's, died Sunday, April 14, 1968 in a hospital there.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Singleton Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes with D.L. Thompson, minister of the Muleshoe Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Lazbuddie Cemetery.

Mr. Amerson was born at Jacksboro, and after leaving Wellington, he made his home in Borger until 1955, when he moved to Muleshoe. He was a retired barber.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bernice Amerson of Muleshoe; and these brothers: Archie Amerson of Amarillo, Carl Amerson of Dozier, Homer Amerson of Tulia, Charlie Amerson of Wellington and Cecil Amerson of Shamrock.

Attending the funeral from Wellington: Charlie Amerson, Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Childers and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Amerson who were joined by their daughters, Mrs. Buck Williams and Mrs. Joe Knoll.
