Berne, Jan 21 - Mrs. Lydia Amstutz, 73, died this afternoon
at the home of her daughter, Ella, after an illness of seven
years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ida Beltz of Fort Wayne;
Mrs. Tillie Roth of Canton, O., and Ella of Berne; seven sons,
Henry and Rueben of Celina, O.; Albert of Linn Grove, John of
Fort Wayne, Menno of Monroe, Ezra of Kidron, O., and Loren of
Orrville, O.; one brother, Jacob Neuhauser of Berne.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30
o’clock at the West Missionary Church with Rev. C. G. Gerig
officiating. Burial will be in the M.R.E. Cemetery.

Aged Berne Woman Dies Tuesday After Several Year’s Illness
Mrs. Lydia Amstutz, 73, died late Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Ella, at Berne, after an illness of seven years. Her husband, John Amstutz, died three years ago. They had lived on a farm until several years ago, when they retired and moved to Berne.
Surviving are three daughters, Ella of Berne, Mrs. Ida Beltz of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Tillie Roth of Canton, O.; seven sons, Henry and Reuben Amstutz of Celina, O., Albert of Linn Grove, John of Fort Wayne, Menno of Monroe, Ezra of Kidron, O., and Loren of Orrville, O.; and one brother Jacob Neuhauser of Berne.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at West Missionary church in Berne, with Rev. C. G. Gerig officiating. Burial will be in the M. R. E. cemetery at Berne.
