Ella Taylor Veldran was a talented seamstress. When her father William Holden Veldran died at an early age in New Jersey, her mother Eliza Taylor Veldran, brother Eugene Veldran and herself moved to Greeley, Colorado to be with her mother's sisters. After graduating, she studied and became a very talented seamstress. She was very active in the Presbyterian Church in Greeley and took an lively interest in her community and it's activities. She married her first husband Charles Lincoln Grove in 1902 and they had 4 children, Charles Manford, William Franklin, Margaret Veldran, and Jean Ruth. Charles Lincoln Grove died early at age 44 from a heart attack. In her later years she married second Alvin Copeland and third to Albert Frisby Marquis. She loved traveling, seeing the sights of the United States, especially with her last husband, Albert Marquis.
