Mrs. Virginia Winstead Hale, 92, of Callao, died on Saturday, May 24, 2008. She was the wife of Sedrick J. Hale, a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and a retired school teacher. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two nieces, Sara Ann Wilbur and Virginia Barton.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Bethany Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Kornel Kiss and Rev. Curtis Hawks officiated. Pallbearers were Harold Ray Wilkins, Clem Wilkins, Ossie Hale, Jimmie Jett, Scott Jett, Christopher Jett, Vince Garland and Bobby Vanlandingham.
