Rebecca Tyng was born on 13 July 1651 in Boston, Massachusetts.2 She was the daughter of Judge Edward Tyng and Mary Sears.3,4 Rebecca Tyng married Governor Joseph Dudley, son of Govenor Thomas Dudley and Catherine Deighton, before 1669 in Roxbury and of their thirteen children, seven lived to maturity.1,3 Rebecca Tyng died on 21 September 1722 at the age of 71 about 2 a-clock after midnight of a vehment flux.5
